A promotion unlike any other, partypoker has partnered with the Formula 1 Team McLaren Racing to bring its players a unique offering beginning this month. The global platform has since launched its McLaren F1 Card Rush, set to award nine lucky winners two VIP tickets to the F1 Emirates Grand Prix De France in 2022 along with $5,000 for travel, accommodation, and expenses.

Running through September 19, 2021, cash game regulars who earned a minimum of $7 in rake daily, instantly qualify for the draw. Prizes can be claimed via scratch cards which are automatically credited to the player’s account and award two possible bonuses on each card: cash and McLaren Miles (one McLaren Mile = 1 ticket). A lottery draw at the end of the promotion will be broadcasted on partypoker’s official Instagram account to announce the nine fortunate players who will take part in the once in a lifetime experience.

New Heads-Up Display (HUD)?

Modern poker strategy has geared today’s online players to be equipped with third party data in an effort to gain an edge against opponents. While partypoker refocused its operations on player experience and banned the use of third party data collection tools back in 2019, a recent interview with new Managing Director of Party Brands, Paris Anatolitis, hinted at the brand’s direction towards developing an internal Heads-Up Display (HUD).

Anatolitis stated that it is “something we are currently looking into”, and with the Table 3.0 software update due for release soon, many are already excited to see what’s new. The importance of creating a level playing field for users remains to be a main priority for the brand, and while an internal HUD does provide additional data, the improved software serves to continue in fulfilling that premise and at the same time, puts partypoker at par with competitors.
