The last tournament at WPT Korea 2024 wrapped up with Thomas Boivin bagging the WPT High Roller title after defeating American pro Stanley Weng in heads up play. Boivin kicked off the final games with a healthy stack and started the final duel with a 2:1 advantage. Once with the lead, Boivin did not relinquish his advantage and secured the victory all the way to the end, taking with him the KRW 218,520,000 top payout, trophy, as well as a WPT High Roller Ring.

The last WPT High Roller highlight on schedule plays down its Day 2 games today, with a champion deemed to be crowned by the end of the night. Day 1 drew in a total of 29 entries with only 16 surviving through the first eleven levels of play led by China’s Zhou Quan. Each entry will set players back KR₩ 20,000,000 (~US$ 14,875) for a starting stack of 300,000, equivalent to 300 times the opening blinds. 40 minute blind levels will run on the clock all the way down to the final table.

Action starts at 12:00 with registration open through Day 2 end of Level 12 @12:40.
