Crown Poker Series: locals fly in to boost Main Event to 254 total entries; 58 advance to Day 2; Hyun Sup Kim, Yunhyun Kim win HR events

It was a nailbiter at Day 4 of the inaugural Crown Poker Series in Da Nang, Vietnam with the Main Event headed for a possible overlay. Word of this spread like wildfire bringing in a large force of locals to join the heavy Korean presence. In the end, the ambitious guarantee offered by the young organizer, Lucky Poker Tour, was met. In addition, two side events also completed. Here are the results.

The final two flights of the VN₫ 10 Billion guaranteed MAIN EVENT were held on the same day, Monday, April 24, starting with Day 1C which saw the largest turnout of 107 entries. This was followed by the Day 1D Turbo flight, where 47 made a last-minute effort to qualify for Day 2. Hyunsup Kim wins the Super High Roller

Korean high roller Hyunsup Kim successfully wrestled his fellow countrymen for the CPS Super High Roller title to claim the VN₫ 1,212,500,000 (~US$ 51,650) top prize. Kim adds another feather to his cap having won multiple high roller titles on home soil. This was his second Super High Roller this year with his first won in Seoul. Kim boosts his live tournament total earning to well over half a million USD
