The €5,300 event attracted a massive field of 1,190 runners and generated a burly prize pool of €5.7 million (~US$ 6.3 million). In spite of Kim’s exciting lead to start the final day, Kim was the first to depart following a four-way ICM deal which allotted the South Korean the biggest payout among the three other opponents. For his fourth place finish, Kim locked in a career-best prize of €622,610 (~US$ 686,620) as well as a huge double up to his total record of cashes.
