Jinlong Hu wins Player of the Festival

On the last two days of World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia, China’s Jinlong Hu reached final table ITM on three events to earn a combined total of 1,425 points and clinch the Player of the Festival. Hu also accrued a combined payout of USD 60,518. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Hu was awarded a coveted USD 1,100 seat to the WPT Prime Championship in Las Vegas this December, along with an additional USD 1,500 in cash.

Hu’s rise began with a 55th place finish at the Championship Warm Up and 67th at the Mystery Bounty, though no points were earned. He then went on to reach six final tables, securing victory at the 20/15/10/5 and nearly another on closing day at the Superstack Classic Freezeout. Check out his stats below.

Hong Kong’s Sparrow Cheung cashed in two events on closing day and slid into second place, bumping Philippine’s Marc Rivera down to 3rd. Cheung and Rivera were both awarded a seat worth USD 1,100 to WPT Prime Championship. Cheung also pocketed USD 900 and Rivera USD 300.


Player of the Festival

With a 44-game lineup scheduled for World Poker Tour (WPT) Cambodia, players will not only have a chance at capturing trophies and the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup, but will also be competing for the WPT Player of the Festival. The top three players in points at the end of the games will win prizes as listed at the bottom of the page.
