Negreanu Takes Down Another One

Ever since foe-turned-friend Doug Polk pointed out Negreanu’s remarkable losing streak in heads-up matches, both in tournaments and challenges, the tides have really turned for old DNegs. After going for over 8 years without a winning a single MTT, he has grabbed two victories in the last few months. This time, he took down the $10,000 No Limit Hold’em event at the Poker Masters for $178,200. PokerGO posted the highlight reel of that event’s final table.

Maria Ho Heartbroken on Live at the Bike

Maria Ho recently appreaded on the popular poker live stream Live at the Bike. She played a session of $50/$100 No Limit Hold’em. However, not all things went the way she imagined. She got stacked by Andy in a massive, $52,000 pot after her 8-high flush ran into the Ace-high flush. Unlucky!

Live Stream from the Hustlers with Vloggers

The late Larry Flint’s Hustlers Casino in Los Angeles, CA has decided to put on their very own live streamed cash game. They invited some of the most popular poker vloggers out there to join the table. These players were Ethan “RampagePoker” Yau, Randall Emmett, and “MarianoPoker”, while the game was $5/$5 No Limit Hold’em with a $50 big blind ante. They got some big names in the commentary booth as well – Norman Chad was calling the match.

The Battle of YouTube Legends

The trend of heads-up challenegs has trancsended the poker world and made its way into the much bigger world of YouTubers as well. Two of the site’s biggest stars, Charles “MoistCr1TiKal” White and Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson have sat down for a $50,000 game of heads-up NLHE.  MrBeast, boasting an astonishing 70 million subsribers, was also seen recently playing agianst poker legends Phil Hellmuth and Tom Dwan at the Bellagio. However, that experience did not help enough – the Moist One emerged victorius at the end!
