PokerStars sees additional countries on restricted list
Following last year’s merger under one of the world’s largest gambling companies, Flutter Entertainment, it appears changes on leading PokerStars have likewise affected its presence in certain locations. To date, over half of the world’s countries are listed on the client’s prohibited jurisdictions which has now extended to three-digit figures. Recent additions on the list are evidently minor markets and believed to not bring a significant effect to the overall global traffic.
“We have been adding to our list of prohibited jurisdictions as part of an ongoing review into markets we would no longer operate in, started after the completion of the merger”, a PokerStars representative informed PRO.
“The outcome of this work has recently been reflected in an update to our prohibited jurisdictions webpage, which details where in the world we do not offer real money, play money or freemium products”, the statement added.
888poker’s $1M Big Shot tournament
A thrilling event awaits players loyal to online site, 888poker as it brings its first million-dollar prize pool tournament of 2021, this month of September. The ongoing $1,000,000 Big Shot sees a special edition of its regular Sunday Big Shot offering but with a much juicier prize guarantee to be awarded.
