Pro Poker Club Ho Chi Minh City announces a 1B VND Guarantee tournament

Earlier this year, we brought you exciting news about the Pro Poker Cup being hosted by Pro Poker Club. As the first legal poker club in Ho Chi Minh City, this tournament represented the first major event hosted in the new poker club.

With a great turn-out and a well-run operation contributing to the success of the first event in July, Pro Poker Club has just announced that another major event has now been scheduled.

The Pro Championship

The Pro Championship will be held at Pro Poker Club between the 2nd and 5th of November. There will be a number of tournaments running through this period, including a Deepstack and a Bounty tournament. The one everyone will be hoping to win however, is the Main Event. Not only because of the VND1,000,000,000 (USD$44,020) guaranteed prize pool, but also because a Honda Sh with an approximate value of VND100,000,000 (USD$4,400) will be given away to the winner.

The starting flights for the Main Event will be spread across three days, with 30-minute blinds and starting stacks of 25,000. Qualifiers into the Main Event will also be running in the first few days of the festival.

Pro Poker Club is open to locals along with foreign tourists, and is quickly becoming one of the hub of live tournament poker in Vietnam.

Details of the tournament

• Total Guaranteed Award (Guaranteed): 1,000,000,000 pro 
• Starting Stack: 25,000 Chips
• Buy-in: 8,000,000 Pro (6.4M + 1.6M)
• Players are subject to a 10% governement tax on their cashes
• Time Blinds: 30 minutes
The tournament is divided into two main stages
➢ Qualification: 3 days of competition:
– Day 1A: 13:00, Thursday – 2/11
– Day 1B: 13:00, Friday – 3/11
– Day 1C: 13:00, Saturday – 4/11
** All athletes have the right to choose days of competition you want to participate or can participate in the 2 or 3 days depending on the tactical qualifying as well as orientation or self-made plan.
** Qualifiers will take place in 12 levels, which are allowed to re-enter before the start of level 9.
** Each participant will receive 25,000 starting chips stack is the same, all athletes are shortlisted will be saved in the stack number and continue to the final round.
** For the athletes participated in two or three days of qualifying and will “survive” until the end of level 12. Then will choose the date for competition, the biggest chip that athletes build is to continue to progress to the finals .
➢ Finals: 11:00, Sunday – 5/11
** Includes all qualifying qualifiers.
** Beginning level 13, each level lasts 40 minutes, until you find the winner
