Poker Dream Manila: Ricardo Singapan bags first title at Warm Up Event; Darren Abdullah wins the KO Bounty Turbo

Poker Dream indeed makes dreams come true with Filipino Ricardo Singapan and Malaysia’s Darren Abdullah locking up first time live career wins. More champions to be crowned as the festival heads into Day 3 of its twelve-day run at the Grand Wing of Newport World Resorts in Manila, Philippines. Here are the results.

Filipino Ricardo Singapan was barely in radar until he reached the final table and was in contention for his first ever live title. Big hands helped him on his road to victory with pocket Aces earning him an early double up and pocket Kings eliminating Cezar Quiambao in 5th place.

Entering heads up against USA’s Ryan McAllister, Singapan quickly doubled up to take the lead and went on to close it out. He pocketed a career high PH₱ 807,000 (~US$ 14,500) and the first trophy of the series. You can relive all the action via the SMP Live Updates.
