Metro Asia Poker Room is a pioneer in running live poker games in Metro Manila. Being at the forefront of the Philippine Poker Boom, holdem games of 25-50 (HKD5-10) and 50-100 (HKD 10-20) have been running nightly for nearly ten years. The Poker Room is located in the upper level of the Casino Filipino Malate complex, inside the New World Manila Bay Hotel (formerly Hyatt). Focusing only on casino cash-game traffic, Metro Asia has four tables, and can spread not only holdem, but also Omaha and Badugi games. The venue is best known to grinders as a gold mine for players looking to mix it up on the poker tables with the curious degens from the baccarat junkets. The games start later than the other venues, making it an ideal last stop for poker rounders.
