The Poker King Cup National Philippines held the last of its side events earlier today, the Pot Limit Omaha Hi, with an entry fee of PhP7,700 ($166,99). There were 36 entries for a prize pool of PhP244,500. Running well past the midnight hour, Filipino player Redentor Edoc defeated Filipino player Yul Maravilla to claim the first place cash prize of PhP97,800 ($2,120).

It was quite a grind at six-handed with all the players sporting decent stacks. For over three hours, the chips swung in all directions until the lone Japanese player at the table busted out. With five players remaining,  it was bubble time. Despite his efforts, Filipino pro John Tech was eliminated as the bubble. This was the second time Tech fell in this position with the first one happening at the Main Event earlier in the afternoon.

Action resumed, however everyone seemed to be getting very tired. Ben Abrahams fell next, exiting in 4th place, and earning the first payout of the event.
