Alan King Lun Lau closes Main Event Day 1D with an enormous stack

During the last two three tables of Main Event Day 1F, Hong Kong’s Alan King Lun Lau was unstoppable, knocking out players left and right. By the time the bubble round was reached, he held a dominating stack of well over 100 big blinds and continued to rise by raising every hand. He closed the heat with a towering 776,000 in chips and is now the player for the next four flights to measure up to.

Main Event Day 1F drew 140 entries at TWD 22,000 each. The top 10% earned a spot into the next round. Read up on the late game action via the updates down below.

If you are just hearing of this, the Main Event offers three varying buy ins in order to accommodate all types of bankrolls – TWD 11,000 (~USD 360), TWD 22,000 (~USD 720), and TWD 33,000 (~USD 1,080). A total of ten flights are scheduled.

POKER DREAM – EPLAYER GUIDE

Multiple stacks get paid

Players are encouraged to attempt for multiple stacks and though your lower stack will be removed from play, you will still collect TWD 120,000 for your second stack. For players that bag up a third stack, you will be paid a combined TWD 250,000 for the two stacks removed. Currently one player has bagged up two stacks, Lau Wing Yu and is now guaranteed a minimum of TWD 120,000.
