The World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Vietnam festival concluded its last flight of the Mystery Bounty 3BN guaranteed and with 297 crowding in host venue Crown Poker Club Hanoi for Day 1C, the total entries ballooned to 614 for a prize pool of VN₫ 5,955,800,000 (~US$ 253,760). This was nearly double the advertised guarantee.

The heat ended with plenty of excitement on the money bubble. Ngo Minh Tien roared when he landed a one-card nut flush on the river

38 new players were then added to the survivors list. NguyễN HữU Vinh bagged the lead in Day 1C. This earned him overall third rank entering Day 2.
Players return on Sunday, May 21 at 11am, each one guaranteed to walk away with a piece of the pot, however what they will be seeking is the hefty winner’s purse of VN₫ 750,000,000 (~US$ 32,000) and the top mystery bounty reward of VN₫ 250,000,000 (~US$ 10,650).

Tricia David has long experience as a recreational poker player and has been covering poker events since 2010 for numerous outfits in Asia. She spent one year working part time with Poker Portal Asia then became editor and lead writer for all event coverage of the Philippine Poker Tour (PPT). Under the PPT, she overlooked content for their website, and produced live updates on all their events. In addition, she served as the live and online events website content writer for the Asian Poker Tour. Currently, she does live events reporting in Asia for online news site Somuchpoker and is also one of their news contributors.
