Xixiang Luo

Another Chinese pro emerged victorious at APPT Cambodia. Well known player Xixiang Luo outlasted the 48 players of the KO Bounty Turbo Freezeout event to turn his US$ 500 more than ten times over. Luo pocketed US$ 5,087 for his victory and another US$ 1,300 for his 13 bounties.

Luo’s rise to victory was very thrilling. At heads up against Qiaonan Liu, he paid a costly double up when his KcJd top pair was crushed by Liu’s AsQd runner runner trips on a board 2cKs5dQsQc. Luo dropped to just 2.5 big blinds.

From there he decided to get it all in with 3c4s then doubled up when his Three-card paired up. This was followed by two more double ups, Ace-Three pairing the Ace against King-Ten and Ace-Five pairing the Ace again to beat pocket Nines. Now back on top, the final hand was As9s defeating Ac7h on a board 10h2h4c6cKh.
