The final day opened with Phan Duy Tai at the helm and Huynh Ngoc Cuong ranked second but by the time the final 8 was formed, both had already cashed out. Eventual champion Nguyen Manh Hung aka Manh Hung carried in the largest stack and was closely trailed by Nguyen Huu Vinh aka Hoa Vinh who had been running red hot at the series. Vinh was on his third final table but had yet to close one out. His bid for the title came short again, this time busting in 4th place with 4c4s running into Le Van Hai aka Phong An’s QsQc.

The first big pot of the final table was the elimination of Michael Newby in 8th place that sent Manh Hung’s pile swelling. Manh Hung outdrew Newby with Ad9h pairing the Nine on the flop to overtake AhKh. Hands later, Manh Hung booted Nguyen Tuan Anh aka Mr Lak in 7th place with Nines good to him again. Manh Hung’s 9h9c hit the two-outer on the flop 10s10d9s to crack QcQd. The leader maintained his stack to the final three. After one hand of play, an ICM deal was struck and Manh Hung was crowned champion for his dominating stack.
