Pokerstars Live Manila: Megastack Results

First event organized by Pokerstars Live Manila, The Manila Megastack has attracted many talented players. The Main Event saw 61 players put forward the PhP 25,000 ($560) entry fee with Joon-han Lee emerging as the winner. Having been a regular on the ACOP tour last year, Joon-han Lee has now banked two good scores in the space of the past month. Other recognisable names who won an event include Ben Abrahams (PhP 5,000 NLH KO Bounty Event), and Mike Takayama (PhP 10,000 NLH Event). There are already many great tournament results attributed to Abrahams, with his name appearing at final tables on the Asian poker circuit since 2010. Takayama is a man with multiple 1st place finishes at major Asian poker tournaments, the largest of which was quite recent. Just a few months ago he was here in Manila, winning the APT Manila Main Event for what was by far his biggest score of PhP 3,453,000 ($80,000). To come back and win another tournament in such a short space of time is a great accomplishment, and it seems likely we will be seeing more of Mike Takayama through 2015.
