Locals dominate WPT Philippines opening event; one flight remains, overlay brewing

It was a day dominated by the locals at WPT Philippines as another set of flights for the All Bankrolls Kickoff wrapped up. Out of the day’s combined 145 entries, 10 of the twelve that qualified to the final day were from the host country. Among them was Philippine All Time Money List leader Marc Rivera. However the top news is the Php 5M (~US$ 99,000) guarantee. With a combined 237 entries (Flight 1&2 = 92 entries), the prize pool sits at around Php 2.4 million, and with one flight remaining, an overlay looms.
