64 of the initial 640 starting field would go on to cash, and by the time the final table was set, Lester Edoc had a commanding lead. His 2.6 million stack dwarfed his nearest challenger, who had 1.7 million. All other players had under 1 million. Of course, it is good to start the final table as big chip leader with the weight of expectation on you, but closing it out and winning is still a tough task. Luckily for Lester Edoc, he’s been here before, and knows how to get the job done. He defeated Peter Chong heads up to take home the title, the seat into the PHP2M Main Event, and PHP330,000(USD$7,152).

He is quickly becoming one of the most decorated and accomplished players from the Philippines.
