Kun Han Lee - SOMUCHPOKER

Chaar-Lee
Chaar-LeeAuthor
Chaar-Lee discovered poker over 20 years ago, starting with fixed-limit games before embracing the rise of No-Limit Hold’em across cash games, STTs, and MTTs. In the early days, he and his circle sometimes played more than 40 different formats in a single night. He organized the first poker camp in his region and has contributed poker technology to several televised shows. Today, he supports the SOMUCHPOKER team from the tech side, blending two decades of poker passion with technical expertise.

Kun Han Lee started off as a wild player, often seen blowing up at the tables, and has since grown to become one of Taiwan’s most challenging and respected players. Exclusively competing in local poker tournaments first, his breakthrough win came in December 2019 when he finished runner up in the APT Taiwan High Rollers, earning his then-best live cash of USD 23,479. Lee’s next highlight was lifting the championship trophy at the Taiwan Millions Tournament (TMT) High Roller Event in November 2020, bagging a USD 13,844 top prize.

More momentum for Lee’s career would come as live events would fully resume after the pandemic. In February 2021, Lee would win the opener of the Asian Poker Tour Series in Taipei, clinching the APT Taichung Mini Main Event adding $11,871 to his career earnings. He would win a few smaller events held locally in an abbreviated season.

Although 2022 saw Lee underperform for most of the year with only a runner-up finish in November at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Mystery Bounty event, his $16,052 cash was still substantial. Lee would use this as momentum for a more fruitful 2023.

In February he would top his career prize money at USD 31,539 by clinching the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP) Championship Series x Japan High Roller in Taipei. Lee’s biggest cashes however, would come at the U Series of Poker (USOP) events, finishing 5th at the USOP Poker2U Taiwan Series Main Event in February for USD 25,282. Later in September, he would place a spot higher at 4th in the USOP Ha Noi Main Event, banking a career best of USD 63,200. As of this writing, Lee’s current total live earnings amount to $551,415. He is ranked 23rd in the Taiwan All Time Money List.
