The APT Taipei 2026 poker festival will be held in the heart of Taipei at Taiwan’s most modern poker facility, the Red Space . From April 22 to May 3, 2026, the Asian Poker Tour (APT) returns to this vibrant city to host one of the most significant events of the year. Players can expect more than 100 different tournaments and massive guarantees exceeding hundreds of millions of Taiwan Dollars over the 12-day series.
APT Taipei 2026 Highlighted Events
The APT Taipei 2026 program is designed to offer attractive opportunities for all bankroll levels, ranging from small buy-in turbo events to multi-million High Roller tournaments. The backbone of the series consists of the APT National Cup and the flagship APT Main Event, which boasts a massive NT$ 70,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, attracting both professionals and amateurs alike.

The schedule features a total of 122 different events, covering almost every variation of poker from popular Hold’em to technical Mixed Games. Buy-ins range from NT$ 3,500 (~110 USD) satellites to the NT$ 777,000 (~25,000 USD) Super High Roller.

Organizers place great emphasis on ensuring that players with smaller bankrolls can qualify for the main events. Live satellites run continuously at the venue from the very first days of the festival, with seats for the APT Main Event winnable for as little as NT$6,000.

Registration and Buy-in Information
Registration takes place at the desks located within the casino area, which are open daily from 10:00 AM until the end of the late registration period of the last tournament. A valid APT registration (QR code) and a photo ID are required for sign-up.

During the record-breaking APT Taipei 2025 , we witnessed the largest Main Event in the series’ history. Japan’s Akira Takasugi emerged victorious over a field of 2,547 players, taking home the lion’s share of the monumental NT$ 121,033,440 prize pool, amounting to NT$ 19,009,440. Over NT$ 388 million was distributed throughout the entire festival.

Action at Red Space is almost exclusively tournament-driven, catering to Taiwan’s strict legal framework for poker as a sport. The venue regularly sees dozens of tables in action simultaneously, spreading a variety of formats including No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Short Deck. During flagship events like the CTP Championship or the Asia Poker League (APL), the room transforms into a wall-to-wall arena of competitive play.
Red Space is perhaps most famous for its role in supporting Taipei’s record-breaking festivals. Last year, it served as a critical secondary venue for the APT Taipei Championship, hosting massive overflow flights and side events that helped cement the series as one of the largest in Asian history.
