Not every week in the Journey series is equal. Here is what makes 5-6 September different.

• Packages, not seats. The 6 September Mega Satellites award $2,388 packages – a Main Event Day 1 seat plus $500 in Natural8 credits for travel. Most weeks only award the bare $1,888 seat.
• The $40 package satellite. One guaranteed $2,388 package from a $40 buy-in. That is a 59x return on a single ticket if you spin it up.

Journey to APT Jeju 2026 – The $1.5M GTD Main Event

APT Jeju 2026 runs from 25 September to 7 October 2026. The Main Event carries a $1,888 buy-in and a $1.5M guarantee, with Day 1 flights A through D starting 27 September.

Mega Satellites to Live Day 1 – 83 Guaranteed Seats

These run on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. HKT with two price points. The $40 is the volume player’s entry. The $250 is the direct route with far better seat density.

Note the shape of that table. The 13 and 20 September editions guarantee 15 seats each at $250 – the biggest seat counts of the series. But they award seats, not packages. This week awards packages. Pick based on whether you value the extra $500 or the extra seat density.

What Is Actually Inside a $2,388 Package

The $500 credit is conditional. You only receive it if you play the APT Jeju OnLive Day 1 or attend the live event in person, and it is credited within two weeks of the series ending. Win a second package, and you get T$1,699.20 for the extra ticket, but you forfeit the extra $500.

OnLive Day 1 – Skip Live Day 2, Start on Day 3 In The Money

This format is what makes the Jeju series worth paying attention to.

You play Main Event Day 1 online. Survive the flight, and you skip Live Day 2 entirely and start on Live Day 3 – already in the money.

Think about what that removes. No Day 2. No bubble. No flight to Korea unless you actually bag a stack. You only travel if you have already locked in cash.

You do not have to buy in directly. The $250 Mega Satellites at 4:30 p.m. HKT on Saturdays and Sundays feed straight into it, and 30 OnLive seats are guaranteed across the series.

The cheapest legitimate route into a $1,888 Main Event seat.

Run the chain: $4 Step into a $40 Mega, $40 Mega into a $2,388 package. Two tournaments and $4 stand between you and a live Main Event seat in Jeju.

Journey to APT Championship 2026 – $5M GTD in Taipei

The APT Championship runs 12 to 29 November 2026 in Taipei. The Main Event is a $10,000 buy-in with a $5M guarantee – the largest prize pool in Asian Poker Tour history. Day 1 is 23 November, with late registration open until 1:45 p.m. on Day 2.

A $10,000 buy-in is out of reach for most players. That is the entire point of the Step ladder.

Step Satellites from $90

The $600 and $1,100 Mega Satellites

Win a Step, and you land in the $600 or $1,100 satellite, which is where the real money is awarded. These run on Saturdays and Sundays at 8:00 p.m. HKT.

The 8 November and 15 November editions guarantee 18 seats each. Those are the softest spots on paper. But qualifying now via a $90 Step means your $600 or $1,100 ticket is already paid for when they arrive.

The Double Qualifier Run – How to Play Both in One Night

Sunday 6 September is the only night this week when both tracks overlap. Here is the sequence.

1. 4:30 p.m. HKT – Fire the $250 Mega Satellite to APT Jeju Main Event OnLive Day 1. Four seats guaranteed.
2. 6:00 p.m. HKT – Thailand-based players add the THB 1,000 APT Thailand Exclusive with THB 900,000 guaranteed.
3. 8:00 p.m. HKT – Fire three at once: the $40 or $250 Jeju package Mega Satellite, the $90 Championship Step, and the $1,888 OnLive Day 1 if you already hold a seat.

Total outlay for the $40 Jeju Mega plus the $90 Championship Step: $130. Combined guaranteed value in those two events: over $23,000.

Play the Steps earlier in the day to reduce that further. A $4 Step into the $40, and a Championship Step ticket won earlier in the week, get your Sunday down to single digits.
