Jose Colada ak JC’s live tournament career is young and anything but mediocre. The Filipino player reached five final tables within a month before the lockdown and nabbed his first live win at the Okada Manila Millions Main Event for a satisfying PHP 700,000 (USD 13,867). 

Two years after his lockdown stint, Colada returned to win the PokerStars Live Okada Manila Millions once more for a generous prize of PHP 557,700 (USD 10,930). In 2023, Colada made his biggest live cash when he placed first at the APC Danang Main Event, bagging VND 2,148,600,000 (USD 90,389).

Following his APC Danang win, Colada continued to dominate Philippine poker, with a significant second-place victory in the Crazy Weekend event at Poker Dream Manila 2023 (winning PHP 1,071,000 or USD 19,272). 

Colada returned to Vietnam in April 2024 and nabbed the top title in the Super Stack High Roller 8 Max event at VIPT Hanoi, cashing VND 760,000,000 (USD 30,238) and marking his second-largest cash. 

Colada’s total live earnings stand at USD 260,834. In interviews, Colada has credited legendary player Lester Edoc as one of his main inspirations and prefers live poker over its online counterpart.
