Poker Dream launched in 2022 in response to the post-pandemic hunger for poker in Asia. Founder Winfred Yu, who previously played a key role in building Triton Poker and Poker King Club, leveraged his immense experience to create the brand .

From the beginning, the goal of the series was to create a reliable and high-quality tour “by players, for players.” The first event was held in Malaysia at the Resorts World Genting casino, which was an immediate success in the region. Poker Dream expanded quickly, conquering the best casinos in Vietnam and the Philippines shortly after, attracting record-breaking fields. The festival’s prestige is further enhanced by regularly hosting high buy-in (High Roller) tournaments, thanks to the founder’s connections within the Asian high stakes community.
