Poker Dream Returns to Malaysia This August Feat. RM 5 Million GTD

For its 18th edition, Poker Dream returns to Genting Highlands Malaysia from August 7 to 18, 2025! This will be the brand’s 10th visit since debuting in the country back in July 2022. As the only international poker brand hosting events in Malaysia, Poker Dream has firmly established itself as a beloved fixture on the local calendar, and its popularity has only grown stronger.

The upcoming Poker Dream 18 Malaysia will be the brand’s third visit to the country this year, following a pattern that has kept the local players perpetually excited. Last year alone, the brand held four festivals in Malaysia, and is expected to match that number again.

For starters, Indian participation has surged, largely boosted by star player Nishant Sharma, who has won the Main Event an incredible three times! In the last edition, another international player stole the spotlight, Singaporean pro Dingxiang Ong, capturing the Main Event title. Players from China and Hong Kong have also been showing up in impressive numbers. Among the past champions were Shaoshua Li, Jihao Chen, and Devan Tang.

Main Event RM 5,000,000 Guarantee

For this edition, all eyes are on the Main Event, which comes with a hefty RM 5,000,000 (~USD 1.17 million) guarantee. As always, the festival will take place at Resorts World Genting Highlands, a favorite choice for locals and tourists alike. Located just outside Kuala Lumpur, this mountain resort is a great destination to mix poker and vacation all in one trip.
