Asia's premier poker brand, Poker Dream, is back in Malaysia for its 17th edition, and true to form, it has been wall to wall action from the very first day. Currently in full swing since April 10 and running until April 21 at Genting Highlands just outside of Kuala Lumpur, the event has already generated large turnouts and record prize pools, all gearing up for the big one. While Malaysians certainly dominate in numbers, international attendance from Singapore, India, and China are also well represented.

On April 15, the flagship tournament, Main Event, kicked off with a juicy MYR 5 million (~US$ 1.1 million) in tow. Based on past results, that figure is expected to be easily breached. But how high it will go will only determined after the 13 flights have completed. As always, the Main Event offers three different buy-ins MYR 2,400, MYR 3,200, MYR 4,800. The last flights run April 19.
