Dicky Tsang entered live tournament play in the last month of December 2018 with the first seven events all in the South Korean circuit. Tsang honed his skills at the All Japan Poker Championship Asian Circuit Incheon and Asian Poker Tour Seoul. It did not take long for the Hong Kong player to find success, bagging a trio of championships through the months of May and June 2019. Tsang clinched his first two APT titles at the Asian Poker Tour Seoul Dafabet Head Hunter and Short Deck Events then hopped down Southeast to take the Opening Event of the All Japan Poker Championship Asian Circuit Taiwan to bag his first career high cash of $ 7,229.

This was all a prelude to a bigger prize in August 2019, as Tsang bested a field of 236 Main entrants to ship the Main Event of the Asian Poker Tour Incheon and pick up his third trophy and championship ring. In the process he cashed a career highlight $49,300. Prior to the pandemic, Dicky Tsang made deep runs at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Taipei, placing second at the High Roller Shot Clock and fourth CTP Club Challenge Events for aggregate winnings of nearly $32,000.

The pandemic lockdown saw Dicky Tsang compete online from August 2020 till September 2022. He returned to live play in December 2022, at one of his favorite tournaments, the All Japan Poker Championships. Tsang competed at the AJPC Samurai Circuit Incheon where he immediately resumed his winning ways, finishing in the money in several events including a runner-up finish at the PLO Event and capturing the Main Event to bring home more than $23,000 in prize money. The tournament provided a springboard to launch a productive 2023.

Dicky Tsang hit the 2023 ground running with a title in January at the Poker Dream Malaysia 2023, Kuala Lumpur Bubble Rush Event. This was followed with twin big cashes midyear, finishing second at the Single Day High Roller 8 Event of the Asian Poker Tour Taipei and getting a table finish at the Main Event of the Poker Dream Taiwan for a $ 40,850 and $ 48,079 payoff respectively. July then saw, the Hong Kong pro ship another Main Event this time at the Taiwan Millions Tournament Season 14.

But August was reserved for a dramatic milestone for Dicky Tsang. In a come-from-behind victory, Tsang captured his fourth Gold Lion trophy winning the Mystery Bounty Hunter Event of the Asian Poker Tour Incheon in a heads-up play with Japanese Shiina Okamoto who was the the chip leader coming into the final table and he with the shortest stack. Dicky Tsang somehow grounded it out and reversed what seemed to be an inevitable win by Okamoto.

Dicky Tsang added two more titles in September, shipping the Grand Event and Platinum Series Friday Frenzy of the Asia Series Poker Tour Taiwan combining for a cash of more than $32,000. Tsang spent the last quarter of 2023 shuttling between Vietnam and Taiwan going deep in many tournaments including a table finish at the Single Day High Roller Max 8 Events #3 and #50, cashing $ 27,086 and $ 22,711 respectively.

The start of 2024 was momentous again for Dicky Tsang. Tsang captured his fifth APT title, snatching the Hyper Turbo High Roller event then snared a runner-up finish at the High Roller Max 8 Event of the Asian Poker Tour Taipei for a career best live cash of $ 108,951. The following month, Tsang finished deep at the Deepstack Event of the U Series of Poker Da Nang Part 1 with a $ 29,789 payoff. Another championship was secured again at the All Japan Poker Championship Samurai Circuit Taiwan in the Sumo High Roller Event. Tsang also made deep runs at the Asian Poker Tour Jeju with his best showings at the Baby Superstar and High Roller Events. He made nine cashes in this tournament alone, adding nearly $68,000 more to his total live earnings.

This June 2024 marked Dicky Tsang’s North America debut, competing at the The Wynn Summer Classic, 2024 Aria Poker Classic and the 55th World Series of Poker, Las Vegas.
