The Gods of Poker (GOP) returns to one of Southeast Asia’s most popular poker hubs, Phnom Penh in Cambodia . The festival named The Coiled Path will take over the poker room of the luxurious NagaWorld Integrated Resort from March 26 to April 5, 2026. This 11-day series is expected to attract some of the region’s largest fields, thanks to excellent structures and the world-class comfort of NagaWorld. The full schedule of The Coiled Path – GOP Phnom Penh 2026 caters to every player’s needs, whether they are high-stakes pros or recreational players. The backbone of the series consists of No Limit Hold’em tournaments, but the program also includes many other exciting formats.

During the festival, numerous Texas Hold’em tournaments will run, including the Main Event and High Roller events. For fans of action-packed games, Pot Limit Omaha tournaments provide opportunities, while those looking for a faster pace will find what they need at the Short Deck tables.

Tournaments run according to the Gods of Poker (GOP) official rules. Most tournaments use a Big Blind Ante structure to speed up play. You can access the detailed tournament rules and terms and conditions at the official links.

Registration and Buy-in Information

Running poker events at NagaWorld is extremely smooth, but it is worth being aware of the most important details:

• How to register: Registration takes place on-site at the NagaWorld poker room registration desk (Naga 1 or Naga 2 building, depending on the current listing). Bring your passport and your NagaWorld membership card (can be obtained for free on-site).
• Currency: In Cambodia ‘s casinos, including NagaWorld, games are played in US Dollars (USD). All buy-ins and payouts are settled in USD. No local currency (Riel) is needed at the poker tables.
• Payment methods: Buy-ins can be paid in cash (USD) at the cashier. For certain larger events, bank transfer may be available through the organizer (inquire in advance).

Destination and Sightseeing

Phnom Penh, the “Pearl of Asia”, is a dynamically developing metropolis where French colonial architecture mixes with modern skyscrapers and traditional Khmer culture.

• NagaWorld: The venue itself is a standalone entertainment complex. It consists of two building complexes (Naga 1 and Naga 2), connected by an underground shopping mall, NagaCity Walk.

  • Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21): A harrowing but important historical site.

Travel Logistics

• Airport Transfer: Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) is approx. 30-45 minutes from NagaWorld, depending on traffic.
  • Taxi/Grab: The easiest and safest way to travel is using the Grab app. A trip from the airport to the casino is approx. 10-15 USD.
  • Official Airport Taxi: Fixed-price taxi service is also available at the exit.
• Visa: For most travelers, a tourist visa is available on arrival (Visa on Arrival) for approx. 30-35 USD (bring a passport photo), or an E-Visa can be applied for online in advance.
• Finances: Although the official currency is the Riel (KHR), in practice USD is accepted everywhere in Phnom Penh. Carry small denomination dollars ($1, $5) for tips and tuk-tuks. ATMs are widely available and dispense dollars as well.
