Consequently, the total paid-out prize pool reached over 142 000 000 PHP (approximately 5 000 000 USD). The most prestigious trophy was eventually claimed by local hero Justin Ong, who bagged a fantastic $256 370 (over 14 000 000 PHP) first-place prize for winning the 1 246-entry Main Event. In an extraordinary performance, Justin Ong had also won the Red Dragon event just a few days prior, completing a historic double victory.
