Chaar-Lee
Chaar-LeeAuthor
Chaar-Lee discovered poker over 20 years ago, starting with fixed-limit games before embracing the rise of No-Limit Hold’em across cash games, STTs, and MTTs. In the early days, he and his circle sometimes played more than 40 different formats in a single night. He organized the first poker camp in his region and has contributed poker technology to several televised shows. Today, he supports the SOMUCHPOKER team from the tech side, blending two decades of poker passion with technical expertise.

A regular in the live and online poker scene, Indian pro Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved has built an outstanding reputation across the Asian poker community for his lengthy list of achievements. Ved’s first live tournament cash was recorded back in August 2015 at the India Poker Championship, and just four years later, followed through with his best live cash to date. A 51st place finish in the 50th World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas, USA, Ved claimed a whopping $173,015 for the deep run.

His attempt at a bracelet eventually found success in GGNetwork’s online WSOP 2020 games where Ved bagged his maiden bracelet and $234,433 in top prize at Event #64: $840 Super Turbo Bounty NLH. Adding to his success in the live field, Ved is also sitting with ₹7.6 Crore (~US$ 996,378) in total online cashes with the bulk of that coming from Spartan Poker, where the pro bested the site’s 2021 signature series for a Millionaire title and ₹30.31 Lakhs (~US$ 39,737) in winnings.

Kartik Ved’s notable results continue to rack up through 2022 with the bracelet winner’s latest win being at the National Poker Series’ Super Highroller event for ₹22.09 Lakhs (~US$ 28,960) after beating fellow PokerGuru ambassador Vishal ‘Vishzz’ Bajaj in heads up play. The skilled pro emerged as the festival’s top scorer, having also won The Prestige tournament for a second time in the running for ₹9.35 Lakhs (~US$ 12,258). Throughout his career, Ved’s total live earnings now amount to over $400k, placing him in 14th in India’s All Time Money List according to The Hendon Mob.
