7,000 NT$Players Series Taiwan Championship 2025: A Premier Poker Event
The upcoming Players Series Taiwan Championship is the second installment of the new low-stakes budget friendly live poker series, which launched in December 2024. It is set to take place from February 19 until March 3 at the Asia Poker Arena and features TWD 50 Million (~US$ 1.5 Million) in guaranteed prize pools. The festival is once again held in cooperation with Natural8 and Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Association (CTP Club) Taipei.
Compared to the inaugural edition, the festival in Taiwan includes an extended schedule spanning across 63 different events and the two flagship tournaments have increased buy ins.
The PS Taiwan Open costs TWD 16,500 (~US$ 508) with a guaranteed prize pool of TWD 7 Million (~US$ 212,000) and the PS Taiwan Championship features a price tag of TWD 33,000 (~US$ 1,016) with a TWD 20 Million (~US$ 607,000) guarantee.
