Ling Liu is an Australian poker player with more than $625,000 in recorded live tournament earnings. Based in Sydney, Liu has more than a decade of tournament results across the Australian circuit, with titles on the Australian Poker League and Australian Poker Tour. Her biggest score came in September 2026 when she finished runner-up to Cooper Feltham in the WPT Prime Australia Championship for AUD 161,127 ($114,595), narrowly missing the chance to become the first female WPT Prime champion in WPT history.

Career Earnings & Biggest Results
Ling Liu has more than $625,000 in recorded live tournament earnings after adding her latest WPT Prime Australia result to the results listed by The Hendon Mob.
Her career-best score came during WPT Australia 2026 at The Star Sydney.
Liu reached the final table of the AUD 1,500 WPT Prime Australia Championship seventh in chips with 1,275,000. She eventually reached heads-up against Feltham after navigating a 1,036-entry field that generated an AUD 1,346,800 prize pool.
Feltham began heads-up with around 38 million chips against fewer than four million for Liu, but Liu mounted a major comeback and eventually moved into the lead. The pair agreed a deal once the stacks became closer, locking up AUD 161,127 for Liu before playing on for the trophy, an additional AUD 10,000 and a WPT Prime Championship ticket.
Feltham ultimately recovered to win the title, leaving Liu with AUD 161,127 ($114,595) for second place. The result denied her the opportunity to become the first female WPT Prime champion in WPT history.
Before the WPT Prime result, Liu's largest recorded cash came in May 2026 when she won the AUD 750 Colossus at the Kings Room Colossus Series for AUD 105,000 ($74,896).
Later that month, she finished third in the Poker Palace Winter Championships Main Event at Poker Palace Sydney for AUD 30,500 ($21,746).
Liu has also recorded several notable victories earlier in her career. She won the 2023 Kings Cup Series Main Event for AUD 33,400 ($23,123), while her 2018 results included an Australian Poker League title for AUD 21,000 ($15,770) and an Australian Poker Tour Sydney Main Event victory for AUD 17,750 ($13,108).
In May 2025, Liu added another title at the Sydney Champs, winning a Survivor Bounty event for AUD 17,010 ($11,055).

Play Style & Strategy
There is limited public interview or strategy material available from Liu, making it difficult to define her overall playing style across her career.
Her performance at the 2026 WPT Prime Australia Championship did provide several examples of her play under final-table pressure.
Liu entered the final table as one of the shorter stacks before surviving to heads-up against Feltham. She began the match at a major chip disadvantage but quickly doubled with king-ten against ace-six before finding another double shortly afterward.
Liu then picked off a river bluff with ace-high as she continued closing the gap. After the heads-up deal was agreed, she won another large pot to move into the chip lead for the first time.
Feltham regained control after calling a Liu triple-barrel bluff with third pair, but Liu still found another opportunity to retake the lead in the final hand. She moved all-in holding the stronger ace, only for Feltham to make a wheel on the river and secure the title.
Feltham publicly praised Liu's play after the match, with her comeback taking her from a significant heads-up deficit to within reach of a historic WPT Prime victory.
