The Australian Poker Open (APO) is a new annual live poker event held by Poker Palace Australia in Sydney and has become one of the higher stakes competitions in the Australian poker scene after the Aussie Millions in Melbourne has been on an extended hiatus. It takes place at Club Marconi inside of Doltone House, which regularly hosts other major in-house poker festivals throughout the year.

The APO by Poker Palace Australia is one of five headline festivals by the venue and features some of the largest estimated prize pools. It first took place in March 2024 and is set to return in 2025 with an even bigger and more ambitious schedule. Brand ambassadors for the APO are Rehman Kassam and John “Bert” Perry, regulars in the Aussie poker community.
