Lester Edoc is a Filipino professional poker player with more than $3.5 million in recorded live tournament earnings. A 21-time Asian Poker Tour champion and two-time APT Main Event winner, Edoc has been one of the Philippines' most successful tournament players for more than 15 years. In October 2026, he added another major title by winning the record-breaking TMT Championship 2026 Main Event in Taipei for TWD 4,757,400 (~$146,440).

Lester Edoc has more than $3.5 million in recorded live tournament earnings after adding his latest TMT Championship victory to the results currently listed by The Hendon Mob.
He ranks fourth on the Philippines All-Time Money List, with more than 250 recorded live cashes across a career dating back to 2009.
Edoc's largest recorded cash came at APT Taipei 2024, where he finished runner-up in the Superstar Challenge for TWD 8,402,000 ($265,645). One day earlier, he won the Single Day High Roller for TWD 2,686,140 ($84,888).
His long association with the Asian Poker Tour reached another milestone at APT Taipei 2026, where he won the High Roller for TWD 2,460,600 (~$78,600). The victory marked his 21st APT title, extending his record as one of the most decorated players in tour history.
Edoc is also a two-time APT Main Event champion, with both victories coming during 2018.
His latest major success came at the TMT Championship 2026 at CTP Asia Poker Arena in Taipei.
The TWD 35,000 Main Event attracted a record 1,418 entries and generated a TWD 42,880,320 prize pool, comfortably exceeding its TWD 30 million guarantee.
Edoc entered the final table as chip leader and remained at the top throughout the five-hour finale. He eventually reached three-handed play with Aditya Agarwal and Sunho Yoo, with the trio agreeing an ICM deal.
Edoc locked up TWD 4,757,400 (~$146,440) before the three players continued for the trophy. Five hands later, he secured the title and another major Main Event victory.

Biography & Poker Background
Edoc represents the Philippines and is based in Pasig.
His recorded tournament history dates back to 2009, with results spanning the Philippines, Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam, the United States and several other major poker destinations.
Edoc has said that his poker journey began in Baguio, where he ran home games before eventually moving into professional tournament poker.
He later became closely associated with Metro Card Club, one of the most important rooms in Philippine poker, and has represented the venue as a Team Pro.
His career developed alongside the growth of tournament poker in the Philippines. By 2018, Edoc had established himself as one of the country's leading players, winning two APT Main Event titles during the same year and adding numerous side-event trophies.
His success has continued well into the modern era of Asian poker. Edoc has recorded major results at APT festivals across Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines, while also competing regularly at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
His 2026 season included a Super High Roller victory at APL Taipei, several final tables across Gods of Poker festivals, deep runs at APT Jeju 2026, and a cash in the WSOP Main Event before his TMT Championship victory in October.
The TMT win carried an additional family connection. Edoc's wife, Ferlyn Edoc, had won the Ladies Event at the same festival just one day earlier, giving the couple two titles during the series.
Play Style & Strategy
There is limited detailed public strategy material from Edoc, making it difficult to accurately define his overall playing style across such a long career.
Edoc has previously said that poker is his profession and that studying the game remains an important part of staying competitive.
His TMT Championship run provided a more recent example of his ability to manage a large stack over several stages of a tournament. Edoc entered the final table as the chip leader and remained in front throughout the five-hour finale.
During the final table, he eliminated Ronald Haverkamp in fifth after calling an all-in with ace-king and rivering a straight, while another major pot saw him eliminate Hao Che Cheng in fourth with ace-king against ace-jack.
Edoc also showed restraint when required. In one hand against Agarwal, he three-bet preflop and continued on the flop before eventually folding to a river bet rather than forcing the action.
By three-handed play, Edoc had maintained enough of an advantage to secure the largest share of the ICM deal before going on to win the trophy.
Following the victory, he said he was especially pleased because it had been some time since his last Main Event win and because the 1,418-entry field was the largest he had ever outlasted.
