While relatively new to the poker scene, Filipino player Joshua Figuerres is a force to be reckoned with. Though he only has about 20 tournament results to his name, the semi-rookie already has USD 45,935 in total live earnings.

An “occasional” player from 2015 to 2023, Figuerres got into the swing of poker things in 2024, with his biggest win occurring at APT Taipei, where he placed 26th in the Main Event for a whopping NTD 357,000 (USD 11,312).

Following his major win, Figuerres enjoyed a lucrative run in Vietnam, cashing VND 140,200,000 (USD 5,690) at VPL Hanoi and VND 146,200,000 (USD 5,902). Figuerres then ventured into Malaysia, participating in Poker Dream 9 for total earnings of RM 43,106 (USD 9,112).

Most recently, Figuerres has made hefty cashes at the 2024 Chase Cup in Mandaue (PHP 116,700 or USD 2,023) and the Manila Super Series 20 (PHP 83,000 or USD 1,432).
