12th on the South Korea All-Time Money List, Hyun Sup Kim has catapulted himself into the ranks of the most prolific and rewarded poker players globally in a remarkably short span of time. His career, which began in 2020, has seen him participate in over 100 tournaments, shattering records at a pace that is nothing short of astounding.

In July 2022, Kim’s talent was rewarded with his first five-digit cash at the MJC High Roller Event at OPS X WFP (Millionaire Joker Club), where he secured the second spot and a cash prize of KRW 1,100,000 (USD 18,546). He quickly outdid himself, clinching a first-place title in the Mega High Roller Event at WPC SESSION2, and a cash prize of KRW 24,000,000 (USD 30,344).

Kim proceeded to make impressive five-digit wins in the Super High Roller at POPL Summer Attack (winning KRW 44,000,000 or USD 33,791), the Super High Roller Premium at WPC SESSION4 (winning KRW 65,000,000 or USD 45,659), and the No-Limit Hold’em at WFP X HCL Premium High Roller (winning KRW 130,000,000 or USD 90,219) in the same year.

However, Kim’s most significant recent victory was claiming the second top spot at the 2024 WPL X KSOP Live Series Season 3 and cashing KRW 140,000,000 (USD 106,590). His 2024 run has flourished, with a USD 44,887 cash at WFP X KAIROS II, USD 51,740 at USOP Da Nang Part 1, and USD 73,491 at Poker Dream 10 in Vietnam.

To date, Kim has total live earnings of USD 1,512,514.
