Players Series Unveils Full Schedule for PS Championship IV Taipei 2026
The complete schedule has officially been released for the upcoming Players Series (PS) Championship IV Taipei 2026 . The major festival will run for 13 action-packed days from August 19 to August 31, 2026. The entire series will take place at the famous CTP Asia Poker Arena , bringing a massive lineup of 104 individual events to Taiwan’s premier poker venue.
Out of these, 92 are official trophy tournaments carefully designed to welcome every single type of player. Whether you are stepping into a live poker room for the very first time or you are a seasoned local player, the wide variety of game structures offers a perfect entry point for everyone.

The upcoming series features a massive total series guarantee of over NTD 39,000,000 (~USD 1,223,830). To give players plenty of opportunities to win, the schedule features two different Main Events. The action starts early with the Natural8 Open Main Event, which carries a guaranteed prize pool of NTD 5,000,000 (~USD 156,000). Starting flights for this opening event will run from August 20 to August 22.

The Flagship PS Championship IV Main Event

The Natural8 Open will serve as a great warmup for the biggest tournament of August, the official PS Championship IV Main Event. This main tournament features a huge NTD 15,000,000 (~USD 470,000) guaranteed prize pool.
To give players the best flexibility to make it through, organizers are hosting six starting flights, labeled Flights A through F, scheduled between August 25 and August 29. The survivors from those days will return to battle for the trophy on the final day of the festival on August 31.
A Look Back at Kiyoung Kim’s Big Run at PS Championship III

To get an idea of how big these events can get, we only have to look back at what happened earlier this year at the PS Championship III . South Korea’s Kiyoung Kim had an incredible run during that series, showing everyone exactly how it is done. He first took down the PS Super High Roller trophy, walking away with NTD 1,156,000 (~USD 36,945).
He then carried that momentum straight into the massive PS Championship III Main Event field. That tournament drew a total of 749 entries and built a final prize pool of NTD 21,355,500 (~USD 682,555), proving just how popular the Players Series has become. Kim managed to outlast every single player to take home the title, setting a massive bar for the incoming fields to try and clear this August.
Buy-In Options for All Bankrolls

Another great part of the upcoming festival is the wide range of entry fees. Players on a tight budget can get in on the action for next to nothing, with buy-ins starting as low as freeroll tournaments that cost nothing to enter.
On the other end of the scale, the highest buy-in of the entire series will take place during the Superstar Challenge, which costs NTD 120,000 (~USD 3,765) to enter and is expected to bring out the top talent in the region.
High Roller Early Bird Special
To take care of players entering the biggest tournaments, organizers have introduced a special High Roller Early Bird Special. This promotion offers pre-packaged deals and special perks for players who plan their trips in advance and buy into the high-roller events early. It ensures a smooth, comfortable experience at the venue while locking in great value before the first cards are dealt.
