Ola Poker Tour Returns to Taipei This December with Over NTD 16M Guaranteed

The Ola Poker Tour is heading back to Taipei, Taiwan this December for Ola Poker Tour Taipei 2026 , returning to the CTP Asia Poker Arena for its next stop in Asia. Running from December 16 to 21, the six-day festival features more than NTD 16,000,000 (~USD 505,000) in total guaranteed prizes, with a full slate of tournaments and promotions lined up for players.

The series follows Ola Poker Tour’s first stop in Asia and brings together a mix of major tournaments, high rollers, team competition, and promotions aimed at both local players and those traveling in from overseas.

For anyone planning a December poker trip, Taipei offers a fairly straightforward combination: a packed tournament schedule, a major Main Event, and several side events that give players different ways to get into the action.

NTD 10 Million Guaranteed Main Event

The centerpiece of the festival is the Ola Main Event, carrying a NTD 10,000,000 (~USD 316,000) guarantee with a NTD 22,000 (~USD 695) buy-in.

The Main Event runs from December 18 to 21 and features five starting flights, giving players several opportunities to find a way through to Day 2.

Day 1A and Day 1C will play with 40-minute blind levels, while Day 1B and Day 1D will move at a quicker pace with 30-minute levels. There is also a Turbo flight, Day 1E, using 15/10-minute levels for players looking for one final shot at making the field.

Once players reach Day 2, they are guaranteed a minimum payout of NTD 40,000.

The Main Event also has some history behind it. In the 2025 edition , Japan’s Seiji Sasaki emerged on top of a 497-entry field to win his first career Main Event title. Sasaki collected NTD 1,817,000 (~USD 57,575) along with the trophy.

Teams looking to participate need to register ahead of the festival. The required information includes the team name, nationality, team leader details, full player list, and player photos, while a team logo can also be submitted.

The Ola Poker Tour is also putting together an early-bird promotion specifically for international visitors.

Players traveling to Taipei from outside Taiwan can receive NTD 8,000 in free MTT credits by depositing at least NTD 100,000 (~USD 3,150) before November 30, 2026.

The offer is limited to the first 20 non-Taiwanese players, so it is not an unlimited promotion. The credits are also non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

For players who are already planning to play several tournaments during the festival, the additional MTT credits give them another way to stretch their tournament budget across the schedule.

High Rollers Get a 50% Rakeback Offer

The higher buy-in events come with their own promotion.

Players entering the NTD 33,000 (~USD 1,030) or NTD 55,000 (~USD 1,750) High Roller events can qualify for a 50% rakeback discount, provided they are seated before the end of Level 1 and play at least one hand.

There is a player cap for the promotion. The NTD 33K High Roller offer is available to the first eight qualifying players, while the NTD 55K event has the offer available to the first 16.

That makes the timing important for players planning to take advantage of the promotion. It is not simply a blanket discount for everyone entering the High Rollers, with the qualifying spots limited from the start.
