The 2021 World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online Series taking place at online platform Natural8 has reached its halfway mark with 15 days done and dusted. Nine players have locked up WSOPC Rings. The newest owner was Russia’s Aleksey “somebody444” Churbanov for his victory at Ring #9: $525 Bounty Deepstack No Limit Hold’em. Churbanov overcame a deficit at heads up to deny Jonas “LobyPewis” Mackoff a second series ring / third career ring.

At the side games, Day 12 to Day 15 produced a long list of Asia Pacific winners that included Koreans Jae Wook “Justin” Shin and Jinho Hong, and Indian players Pulkit Goyal and Pranav Bang. Among the multiple event winners, Italy’s Gianluca “Tankanza” Speranza became the first player to win four side events while Ramiro Petrone, Enrico Camosci, and David Coleman secured three wins each.

Next chance at the shiners happens tonight with two WSOPC Rings up for grabs. Ring #10: $100 HUNDRED Stack No Limit Hold’em US$ 500,000 guarantee gets underway on May 17 at 02:05 HKT. To date, the ongoing series has paid out over US$ 46.7 Million across 397 events (9 ring events, 388 side events). Plenty of cash yet to be won with a total of US$ 100 Million promised. Also up for grabs are the last 11 WSOP Circuit Rings. The series runs through May 31st. WSOP Super Circuit Online Series RING #9: $525 Bounty Deepstack NLH final table

The final table ran just over two and a half hours. Within the first forty minutes, short stacked player LittleFishVN doubled up then busted to Abracadabraal in 9th place, “mucmuckgo” paid two costly shoves toPablo “PibeCaslaa” Roman and Artem “BlackfileOK” Tuliupa to plunge to 5 bb, PibeCaslaa rivered a higher flush to avoid the rail against “somebody444”, then “muckmuckgo” fell in 8th place to PibeCaslaa. This led to a lengthy seven handed match. The chip lead bounced from PibeCaslaa to davidchien88 to somebody444 to LobyPewis.

Half an hour after the previous elimination, BlackfileOK pushed all in on a board 8c8sAc6h3h, somebody444 tanked for a few minutes then called for his tournament life. BlackfileOK was bluffing with Ks2s, somebody444 shipped it with AsQc to reclaim the chip lead (hand pictured above). Down to 5 bb, BlackfileOK managed to double up however on the next shove, he was railed by LobyPewis in 7th place. At six remaining, the chip lead moved from player to player except to Abracadabraa whose stack kept dropping until LobyPewis put him out of his commission. Next to go was Esteban “siemprechill” Gomez (5th) with PibeCaslaa collecting.

The final four players set off with everyone about even in stack size and average at 40 bb. Every player spent time up top until somebody444 knocked out PibeCaslaa (4th) with AsQc spiking a Queen to dump 7c7s. At three-handed, somebody444 amassed over half the chips in play. LobyPewis trimmed the gap after booting davidchien8 in 3rd place with Ad7d dominating QdJc. Heads-up opened with somebody444 ahead with 51 bb to LobyPewis’s 39 bb.

On the second heads-up hand, LobyPewis landed a huge double up with AhJd pairing the ace to overtake somebody444’s 9d9h. This sent LobyPewis soaring to 77 bb while somebody444 plummeted to 14 bb. Next hand, LobyPewis 4c10h shoved on a flop 2d4s9c, somebody444 called for all his chips with 9d6c top pair. With a Qd turn and 5c river, it was a double up. From there, somebody444 grinded then overtook LobyPewis. The final hand arrived with somebody444 pushing AhAs full house on a board 2s2h3cKcAd, LobyPewis tank-called for his tournament life with Kd7d two pair.
