If you love high-stakes drama and the legendary antics of Phil Hellmuth , you’re in for a treat. The “Poker Brat” is back at it, filming a brand-new batch of episodes for Hellmuth’s Home Game. Sponsored by BetRivers Poker, this show has quickly become a fan favorite because it’s not just about the cards – it’s about the chaos.

Last season gave us a front-row seat to private games filled with big personalities. This time around? The energy is even higher, the pots are bigger, and yes, Phil’s temper is shorter than ever.

Check out this preview of what to expect from Season 1 (13 episodes).

A Lineup You Won’t Want to Miss

One thing that makes this poker cash game stand out is the mix of players. You don’t just get grumpy pros; you get a wild blend of tech moguls, internet stars, and legendary entertainers.

The Season 2 roster is stacked with talent and charisma, including:

The Craziest First Hand Ever?

Most home games start slowly while people settle in with their drinks. Not here. The action was explosive from the very first second.

Hellmuth shared a clip from the very first hand of the session, and it was an all-in right out of the gate between Kelly Lucas and DoorDash co-founder Stanley Tang. With the double straddle on, Hook raised to $600 and was called by Cates and Lucas before Tang three-bet jammed $50,000 with Q Q. It folded back to Lucas, who made the call after just smooth-calling Hook’s original raise with A K, setting up a classic flip. The board ran out 8 4 10 2 10, allowing Tang’s queens to hold up and stack Lucas on the very first hand.

Talk about a warm-up! Imagine sitting down and losing $50,000 before you’ve even finished your first coffee.

The Poker Brat’s Epic Meltdown

We all know why we really tune in: to see Phil Hellmuth lose his cool. While Phil is a 17-time WSOP bracelet winner, his “Home Game” doesn’t always go his way. During this session, things went from bad to worse for the host in just a few minutes.

Phil Hellmuth Is Never Going to Win Again!?
Phil Hellmuth has built a career that defies the odds, silences critics. Won the WSOP Main Event, all together 17 WSOP Bracelet. But every era ends...

On the first hand, Hellmuth and Tang got all in, with Tang holding ace-jack and running out a straight to make the nuts. To set Hellmuth off even more, Tang slow-rolled him before turning over the winning hand, sending the Poker Brat into full meltdown mode.
And then it happened again.
On the very next hand, Hellmuth picked up pocket jacks, only to run straight into Lucas’ pocket queens and get stacked once more.

Losing two massive hands in a row is enough to make anyone tilt, but for Phil, it was the breaking point. After getting “stacked” (losing his entire pile of chips) twice, he didn’t just complain – he walked off.

Phil’s “Quiet Time”

According to sources on the set, Phil stormed off and didn’t return for an hour and 10 minutes. He later took to social media to vent his frustrations, complaining about his “bad run” and how the deck was seemingly against him. Whether you love him or hate him, you have to admit: nobody does a poker tantrum quite like Hellmuth.
