The BPEX Championship Experience
The poker action at BPEX is exclusively tournament-focused, serving as a prestige arena rather than a daily card room. During flagship festivals like the Super Cup 7 Busan (scheduled for June 2026), the venue’s conference halls are transformed into a professional arena featuring record-breaking prize pools that often exceed ₩1 billion. The venue is known for its streamlined, high-capacity registration and the use of the Ticket-Based Entry System, where players use “tickets” acquired via satellites or qualifying events rather than traditional cash buy-ins.
Players at BPEX benefit from a modern, “Art-tainment” vibe that is unique to Korean poker festivals. Between tournament flights, participants can explore the building’s upscale amenities or take the dedicated walkway to central Busan for a mix of traditional markets and high-end dining. Its direct link to the international ferry terminal makes it a preferred base for Japanese and regional grinders, offering a seamless transition from transit to the tournament floor.
