After two action-packed editions earlier this year, the region’s premier poker festival returns to Okada Manila for its 23rd running, set to take place from November 27 to December 8, 2025. With more than PHP 36 million in guaranteed prize pools, this end-of-year edition is shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations of live poker in the Philippines.

Official Poker Guide

The Manila Megastack 23 events run in strict accordance with the global TDA (Tournament Directors Association) rules, with specific supplementary guidelines provided by PokerStars Live.

• Electronic Devices: Players are permitted to use phones at the table (provided they are not in a hand), but devices must not be placed on the poker table felt (rail only). The use of live casting apps (e.g., Twitch, Periscope) is strictly prohibited while playing.
• No GTO Solvers: The use of GTO solvers, strategic charts, or AI tools at the table is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in disqualification.
• Deal Making: Deals are permitted where local regulations allow. For televised or streamed Final Tables, players must leave 10% of the remaining prize pool in play to compete for.
• Force Majeure & Guarantees: The organizers reserve the right to cancel guaranteed prize pools in the event of “Acts of God,” such as a Typhoon Warning of level 8 or higher.

• Local Currency: The local currency is the Philippine Peso (PHP). ATMs are readily available at the Okada Manila and throughout the city.
• Getting There: Manila International Airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport, MNL) is the main hub. Taxis, ride-sharing apps (like Grab), and hotel shuttles are the best way to reach Okada Manila.
