Full Tournament Schedule

The schedule features a total of 122 different events, covering almost every variation of poker from popular Hold’em to technical Mixed Games. Buy-ins range from NT$ 3,500 (~110 USD) satellites to the NT$ 777,000 (~25,000 USD) Super High Roller.

Satellites & Qualification

Organizers place great emphasis on ensuring that players with smaller bankrolls can qualify for the main events. Live satellites run continuously at the venue from the very first days of the festival, with seats for the APT Main Event winnable for as little as NT$6,000.

Live Stream & Coverage

Fans worldwide can follow the action from the most important tables thanks to modern broadcasting technology. The APT team prepares with a professional crew to deliver the final stages of the biggest tournaments live with expert commentary.

Official Event Stream

Live broadcasts of final tables and featured TV tables are available on the APT’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Broadcasts usually run with a 30-minute delay and hole cards shown to ensure fair play.

Poker & Travel Guide

Taiwan, and specifically Taipei, is one of the safest and most friendly poker destinations in Asia. The city’s modern infrastructure, world-famous night markets, and the professional environment of the Red Space guarantee an unforgettable experience.

Official Poker Guide (Rules, Structures)

Tournaments are conducted according to the latest APT rulebook, applying the Big Blind Ante format for a faster pace of play. Blind structures are exceptionally deep, especially in the Main Event, where level duration and starting chips allow ample room for technical play. Official Rules and Structure PDF

Registration and Buy-in Information

Registration takes place at the desks located within the casino area, which are open daily from 10:00 AM until the end of the late registration period of the last tournament. A valid APT registration (QR code) and a photo ID are required for sign-up.

Destination Guide & Must See

Taipei is a vibrant metropolis where tradition and high technology go hand in hand. During poker breaks, it is worth exploring the city’s iconic landmarks:

  • Taipei 101: The former tallest building in the world, offering a stunning panorama of the city.
  • Shilin Night Market: The center of gastronomic adventures, where you can taste the best of local street food.
  • National Palace Museum: Home to one of the world’s richest collections of Chinese art.

Travel Essentials

Entry for international visitors is straightforward, as citizens of most countries can enter Taiwan visa-free.

  • Airport Transfer: From Taoyuan International Airport, the MRT express train takes only 35 minutes to reach the city center.
  • Finances: The local currency is the Taiwan Dollar (TWD). We recommend keeping cash on hand at all times for local purchases.

Past Results & Champions

APT Taipei stops are historically among the largest and richest events on the tour. In recent years, the series has continuously broken its own records, solidifying Taiwan’s place on the global poker map.

Previous Festival Highlights

During the record-breaking APT Taipei 2025 , we witnessed the largest Main Event in the series’ history. Japan’s Akira Takasugi emerged victorious over a field of 2,547 players, taking home the lion’s share of the monumental NT$ 121,033,440 prize pool, amounting to NT$ 19,009,440. Over NT$ 388 million was distributed throughout the entire festival.
