Gary Thompson made a 6,000 min-raise from the cut-off and called the 39,500 all-in re-raise of Yohwan Lim from the big blind.

Both players hit the K on the flop with Thompson staring down a possible flush. There were no hearts to save Thompson and the ace kicker of Lim proved to be the deciding factor to win a much-needed double-up.

Action was checked to Kiyoung who fired a 5,500 c-bet. Yohwan Lim made the call along with Yuanning Wu to see a T♣ turn. All three checked to see the 4♠ on the river. Emmanuel Derecho raised to 1,500 from under the gun and got Yohwan Lim to call from the cut-off along with Hirotoshi Nakabo from the small blind. All three players were treated to a flop of 6♥ 8♦ 4♠ . The action was checked to Yohwan Lim, who fired out 1,700 and was re-raised by Nakabo to 3,800. Derecho stepped away from the fight, but Lim stuck around to see a K♥ on the turn. Nakabo bet out 4,500. Lim tanked and then raised to 15,500. Nakabo made the call which led to a 3♣ on the river. Nakabo checked his option and Lim fired 20,500. Nakabo thought a moment and then mucked the hand.
