Nicknamed “The Silent Ace,” Shixiang Khoo aka Alan Khoo of Singapore is a young yet established player known for keeping a low profile on the felt and making well-timed bluffs. In 2023, he locked up his first major title and largest payout in Vietnam at the Asian Poker Tour Summer Series Da Nang Main Event for VND 3,935,285,500 (USD 166,302). This makes up the bulk of his total live earnings to date of USD 384,966. 

Prior to the win, Khoo’s highest scores were earned the month prior at Poker Dream Taiwan where he placed 3rd at the Super High Roller for NTD 1,200,000 (USD 39,104) and 3rd at the High Roller for NTD 1,070,000 (USD 34,615). 

In his most recent stint, Khoo participated in USOP Taiwan 2024 and the WPT Cambodia Championship in Phnom Penh earning small cashes at numerous events.
