Jinlong Hu’s first triumphs on the live felt came in 2019 at the Asian Poker Tour and Asian Pacific Poker Tours. Hu collected wins at the the Single Day Shot Clock Event of the APT Ho Chi Minh and the KRW 450,000 + 50,000 NLH Event of the APPT Jeju. Hu’s most significant win came in 2019 at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Manila where the Chinese player bested a field of 924 players to collect his first APPT Trophy for winning the Kickoff Event. Hu’s prize money would also be a career best live cash of $ 58,756.

Jinlong Hu played mostly online in 2021 and had a thin 2022 season. In 2023 though, Hu would pick up wins at various festivals. In May, Jinlong Hu captured his first Philippine win, shipping the Mystery Bounty Event of the Poker Dream Manila for a cash of $16,195. He then backed this up by clinching the Deepstack Event of the World Poker Tour Prime Vietnam. Later in September he would become a gold bracelet owner, capturing the Flip & Go Event of the 2023 World Series of Poker Online.

2024 would prove to be a highlight year for Jinlong Hu as the card player would burn the felt at the World Poker Tour Championships in Cambodia, reaching 5 final tables, cash 8 times but most importantly earn the Player of the Festival title collecting a combined total cash of $60,518. Hu was also awarded a seat to the World Poker Tour Championships worth $10,4000 in Las Vegas this December.
