Filipino poker player Jayvon Carreon planted his poker roots in Manila in 2022. He became a regular in 2023, experiencing deep runs in tournaments like the Philippine Poker Tournament, Manila Megastack, and Poker Dream Manila.

While he was often shy of a first-place title in his first year of playing professionally, Carreon closed the 2023 season with his best live cash of PHP 788,000 (USD 14,299), which he won at the Manila Megastack 17’s Kick-Off Event. With just a few days to spare, Carreon cinched the top title in the Hyper Turbo event, winning PHP 74,740 (USD 1,353).

He started on a high for the 2024 season, coming in first place in the Win the Button Turbo event at the Manila Super Series 19. Carreon then made an international appearance in Phnom Penh, placing 7th and 2nd in the Nagaworld Superstack and Freezeout events at the WPT Cambodia Championship.

Carreon made his first APT appearance in Taipei, cashing out NTD 37,000 (USD 1,175) in the Double Stack event.
