WSOP 2026 Day 6 Recap: Hellmuth Chases 18th Bracelet as Million-Dollar Bounty Struck in Mini Mystery Millions
Day 6 of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas had everything. A player became an instant millionaire, Daniel Negreanu surrendered a 10:1 chip lead in the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, Nick Schulman was denied an eighth bracelet in the Badugi, and Phil Hellmuth put himself in contention for number 18. A big day by any measure.
Event #8: $1,500 Badugi — Winner
Michael Casella claimed the Badugi bracelet, denying Schulman what would have been a landmark eighth title. Casella entered the final day as chip leader and held on to take the $141,963 top prize.
Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions — Day 2

The standout moment of the day came when Andrew Shelton cracked open the top mystery bounty envelope and became an instant $1,000,000 winner. The roar around the Horseshoe was audible across the entire floor. When the dust settled, three-time bracelet winner David Prociak emerged as the chip leader heading into the final day with 88,000,000 (55 BBs), just ahead of Alexander Kaviani (81,500,000). Only 13 players remain, with a $400,000 first prize and a gold bracelet on the line. Day 3 begins at 2:00 p.m. on June 1.
