GOP Taipei 2026 Sets the Pace for a Powerful Start to the Poker Year
Gods of Poker (GOP) opens 2026 by planting its flag firmly in Taipei. From January 8 to 18, CTP Asia Poker Arena becomes the stage for The Titan Assembly , an eleven-day festival featuring 95 events and NTD 42,000,000 in guarantees, setting the tone for a massive year for the new tour.
If this is your first proper look at a GOP schedule, or if you somehow missed what went down at the last stop, here’s the short version. This is not a rushed, late-reg heavy, spin-and-pray series. GOP has a clear identity, and it shows everywhere in the structure, the pacing, and how the festival actually feels to play.

The Cronus Structure, Explained Properly
If you already know about the Cronus Structure, feel free to nod knowingly. If not, or if you’ve been hiding behind a rock, this is the part that matters.
Named after the Titan god of time, the Cronus Structure is GOP’s answer to a problem most players quietly complain about. Late registration does not drag on forever. Registration closes after just two levels. There are no filler levels designed purely to extend entries. Opening stacks are deep enough to reward actual decision-making, not just short-stack survival.
What this means in practice is simple. Players are competing from the first shuffle. Tournaments progress at a cleaner rhythm. Days finish at healthier, more predictable hours. It feels intentional rather than endless, and it rewards preparation instead of patience for late chaos.
That structure runs through the entire GOP Taipei 2026 schedule, from side events all the way up to the Main Event. For more information on exactly how the Cronus Structure works, check out the Gods of Poker website.
The GOP Main Event
The centerpiece of The Titan Assembly runs from January 12 to 17, headlined by the GOP Main Event with a NTD 45,000 buy-in and a NTD 21,000,000 guarantee.
Five starting flights give players flexibility without compromising structure. Each flight plays down to the money, and the varied blind formats allow players to choose the depth and pace that best suits their style.
Flight A runs on Monday, January 12 with the deepest opening structure. Flight B and Flight C follow on Tuesday, January 13, offering two different speeds on the same day. Flight D is split across January 14 and 15, creating a longer format option for players who prefer endurance poker. Flight E on Thursday evening, January 15, serves as the final chance to reach Day 2.
Day 2 takes place on Friday, January 16, with the Final Day set for Saturday, January 17. It is a clean, well-spaced Main Event schedule that allows players to stay active elsewhere in the festival rather than being locked into a single grind.

Festival Anchors That Shape the Series
GOP Taipei 2026 is built around multiple headline events, not just one. That depth is what allows players to plan a full trip rather than chasing a single target.
The series opens with GOP Olympians, a NTD 12,000 buy-in event carrying a NTD 3,000,000 guarantee, running across January 8 to 10 with multiple starting flights before playing down. It is the perfect early-festival anchor and one of the best value entries on the schedule.
Pandora’s Mystery Bounty follows on January 10 and 11 with a NTD 18,000 buy-in and the same NTD 3,000,000 guarantee, combining deep play with bounty volatility in a format that consistently attracts large, energetic fields.
Titan Stack arrives on January 11 and 12 at NTD 19,000, again backed by a NTD 3,000,000 guarantee, offering another multi-flight storyline that bridges the gap into Main Event week.
Later in the series, the GOP Mini Main Event runs from January 16 to 17 with a NTD 15,000 buy-in and a NTD 2,500,000 guarantee, while the Kraken Stack closes out the final weekend on January 17 and 18 with a NTD 24,000 buy-in and NTD 3,000,000 guaranteed.
The festival wraps with The Closer Mystery Bounty on January 18, a NTD 30,000 buy-in event carrying a NTD 3,238,000 guarantee, giving players one last high-energy shot before the lights go down.

High Roller Battles and the Gauntlets

The High Roller schedule is where GOP Taipei sharpens its edge.
Four flagship events award GOP’s signature Gauntlet trophies, forming the core of the high-stakes program. The Demigods Challenge runs on January 10 with a NTD 330,000 buy-in. The GOP Super High Roller follows from January 11 to 12 at NTD 230,000, backed by a NTD 3,000,000 guarantee. The Titan Stack High Roller runs January 13 to 14 with a NTD 130,000 buy-in, before the GOP High Roller closes the slate from January 17 to 18 at NTD 120,000 with a NTD 3,500,000 guarantee.
Around these anchors, the schedule adds daily Single Day High Rollers, Turbo and Hyper Turbo formats, and a Mystery Bounty High Roller, allowing elite players to stay active without forcing marathon sessions.
High Roller Packages
For players planning to commit to the full premium schedule, GOP offers a limited number of High Roller accommodation packages designed to remove friction from the grind.
The Titan Package, priced at NTD 480,000, includes a stay at Hamp Court Palace Taipei from January 11 to 18 and requires pre-registration for the GOP Super High Roller, Titan Stack High Roller, and GOP High Roller. Only sixteen of these packages are available.

The Olympian Package, priced at NTD 810,000, includes a stay at Hotel MVSA Taipei from January 9 to 19 and covers all four Gauntlet events, including the Demigods Challenge. This tier is limited to just eight packages.

Full payment is required by December 23, 2025, with package support handled via [email protected]. Select daytime High Roller events and Turbo qualifiers also offer rakeback incentives for early-seated players.
iPoker Satellites and the Online Route to Taipei
Players looking to qualify online can do so through iPoker from December 18 to January 11.
Direct satellites run at $108, awarding seats into the GOP Taipei Main Event. These run Monday through Thursday with one guaranteed seat, while Sundays increase the guarantee to two seats.
For smaller bankroll entries, step satellites from $15 run daily, feeding into the $108 qualifiers. Sundays again offer the strongest value with increased guarantees. Similar satellite ladders are available for the Opening Event, starting as low as $5.
It is a clean, accessible path that allows players to arrive in Taipei with their biggest buy-in already secured.
How to Register and Skip the Line
All players must create a GOP Player Account before entering any event. Setting this up in advance links your GOP ID to tournament seats, payouts, and future festival registrations, and significantly speeds up on-site registration during peak hours.
Registration can be completed on site at CTP Asia Poker Arena or by messaging [email protected]. Late registration is permitted until the specified cut-off levels for each event, which are clearly listed in the schedule.
If you value smooth logistics as much as good structures, this step matters.

Why GOP Taipei 2026 Stands Out
Gods of Poker Taipei 2026 is not built around hype alone. It is built around structure, pacing, and choice. Whether you are chasing a Main Event run, planning a high-roller campaign, or stitching together a festival grind through multiple anchors, the schedule supports it.
If you are starting your year in Asia and looking for a series that respects both your time and your decisions, The Titan Assembly in Taipei sets a high bar right out of the gate.
