APT Jeju 2026 Day 10: Scott Margereson Wins APT High Roller; Inaugural Baby Zodiac Debuts

APT Jeju 2026 moved into its closing stretch on Sunday with another major trophy awarded and a brand-new tournament making its debut at LES A Casino .

The biggest result of APT Jeju 2026 Day 10 saw the UK’s Scott Margereson capture the APT High Roller for KRW 252,850,000 (~USD 190,110), while Malaysia’s Leonard Ng took the lead into the final day of the inaugural Baby Zodiac Classic.

Japan’s Masao Ushida also secured a career-best victory in the Ultra Stack, and Tharit Nanthana collected his second APT title in the Single Day High Roller.

Scott Margereson Wins Richest Korea-Based APT High Roller

Scott Margereson added another major title to his resume after overcoming a 295-entry field in the KRW 5 million APT High Roller.

The tournament generated a record KRW 1,274,400,000 (~USD 958,195) prize pool for an APT High Roller held in South Korea , with 39 players reaching the money.

Margereson took the final-table chip lead and went on to eliminate seven of his eight opponents before defeating Japan’s Yoshifumi Takahashi heads-up. The victory earned Margereson KRW 252,850,000 (~USD 190,110), his second career APT title, the Rose Gold Lion trophy and a USD 10,000 seat to November’s APT Championship Main Event .

Leonard Ng Leads Inaugural Baby Zodiac Classic

The first-ever Event #100: Baby Zodiac Classic – Sponsored by Natural8 made an impressive debut, drawing 223 entries from 152 unique players at a KRW 1.5 million buy-in.

The field comfortably surpassed its KRW 125 million guarantee, building a KRW 289,008,000 (~USD 217,300) prize pool. The top 31 will be paid, with the eventual champion set to earn KRW 61,158,000 (~USD 45,980).

A total of 69 players survived Day 1, led by Malaysia’s Leonard Ng with 369,500, equivalent to 123 big blinds when play resumes.

Former APT Jeju Main Event champion Abraham Ceesvin sits just behind on 357,000, while Japan’s Kyosuke Nagami rounds out the top three with 353,000.

The Baby Zodiac Final Day begins at 11:15 a.m. KST on Monday, October 5 and will play down to its inaugural champion.

Masao Ushida Wins APT Jeju Ultra Stack

Japan’s Masao Ushida turned his deep run in Event #85: Ultra Stack into the biggest victory of his poker career.

The tournament drew 274 entries across three starting flights, generating a KRW 284 million prize pool and comfortably surpassing the KRW 150 million guarantee.

Ushida returned for the Final Day with the third-largest stack from Flight C before going on to claim his maiden APT title and a career-best KRW 57,673,200 (~USD 42,563) payday.

Chi Jen Chen narrowly missed his second title of the festival, finishing runner-up for KRW 36,630,000 (~USD 27,033), while Singapore’s Changjie Zhang placed third for KRW 27,460,000 (~USD 20,266).

Tharit Nanthana Wins Single Day High Roller

Thailand’s Tharit Nanthana continued his excellent APT Jeju campaign by winning the 72-entry Event #99: Single Day High Roller.

Nanthana collected KRW 108,808,000 (~USD 80,301), his biggest result of the festival, while also securing his second career APT title.

Sweden’s Gabriel Karlsson finished runner-up for KRW 78,380,000 (~USD 57,845), with Germany’s Fabian Gumz taking third for KRW 50,950,000 (~USD 37,601).

More APT Jeju Day 10 Winners

Hong Kong’s Stephen Pang topped the 142-entry Event #96: Sunday Superstack – Big Bounty, collecting KRW 10,572,044 (~USD 7,802) in total prizes and his third career APT title.

Chun Yu Ma also reached three career APT titles after winning Event #97: Masters Dealer’s Choice for KRW 9,362,000 (~USD 6,909). Ma and runner-up Yang Lu agreed to an ICM deal, with Lu taking the larger KRW 10.6 million payout despite finishing second.

China’s Yujie Sun secured his second APT title in Event #98: Fixed Limit Omaha Ultimate Hi-Lo – Cry Me A River for KRW 850,140 (~USD 627), while Anqi Luo made it two titles at the festival by winning Event #101: Women’s Event for KRW 2,655,216 (~USD 1,959).

Zehao Li claimed his fourth career APT title and second of the festival in Event #102: PL Omaha Hi-Lo – 5 Card (Big O), earning KRW 7,602,896 (~USD 5,611). Shu Xu followed with his maiden title in Event #103: NL Hold’em – KRW 320,000 Bounty per Player for KRW 1,779,302 (~USD 1,313) in total prizes.

Taiwan’s Yutang Wang collected an 11th career APT title by winning Event #104: Turbo – NL 8-Game for KRW 2,750,224 (~USD 2,030), while Leo Pang broke through for his maiden APT title in Event #105: Turbo – NLH for KRW 5,321,561 (~USD 3,927).

Xiao Zhang won Event #106: Hyper Turbo – High Roller for KRW 12,509,200 (~USD 9,232) and his second career APT title. Mikhail Fedotov added his third APT title in Event #107: Hyper Turbo – NL Omaha High – Double Board – Bomb Pot – Red River for KRW 2,250,486 (~USD 1,661).

Finally, Guangling Chen made his first recorded live tournament cash a winning one, taking down Event #108: Super Hyper Turbo – NLH for KRW 2,660,576 (~USD 1,963) and his maiden APT trophy.

Jianfeng Sun Takes SMP x APT Jeju Points Race Lead

The SMP x APT Jeju Points Race , sponsored by Natural8 , has undergone another major shake-up as the festival enters its final days.

Jianfeng Sun now leads with 6,359 SPI points, opening a sizeable gap over Xiang Chen in second.

High Roller champion Scott Margereson has climbed to third with 4,349 points, just 20 behind Chen, while Ryan Plant and Steve Ng complete the top five.

Every cash in an eligible non-satellite event earns SPI points, with USD 1,000 in Natural8 credits awaiting the final top three. First place receives USD 500, second USD 300 and third USD 200.

Monday, October 5 features the conclusion of the inaugural Baby Zodiac Classic alongside the opening day of another high-stakes event and three starting flights for the Micro Main Event.

Event #109: Micro Main Event carries a KRW 125 million guarantee and a KRW 750,000 buy-in. Flight A begins at 11 a.m., Flight B at 4 p.m., and Turbo Flight C at 8:30 p.m.

The Baby Zodiac Classic Final Day resumes at 11:15 a.m., with Leonard Ng leading the 69 survivors chasing the KRW 61,158,000 top prize.

At 11:30 a.m., Event #111: High Roller – Ultra Stack gets underway. The tournament carries a KRW 4.3 million buy-in, with registration remaining open until 10:40 p.m.
