Only 41 survivors returned to the felt across the Final Day, each already guaranteed a mincash of KRW 3,140,000 (~USD 2,245). Nearly nine hours of play passed by before Li closed out the games, earning him a career maiden win for KRW 77,406,000 (~USD 55,395). Li held the advantage over the final duel and crushed Zuyou Wang for the title in just half an hour, leaving his opponent to settle for a runner up finish.

Young Wook Lee risked his 65,500 stack with K♥ K♦ and ran smack into Chi Jen Chen's nutted A♦ A♣ . No bad beats were delivered on board J♦ 6♠ Q♠ 4♣ 6♣ , leaving Lee out of the Day 1A games following the cooler.

A preflop back and forth between Chunhui Ji and Zheng Cai saw the latter make the final call for his entire 49,600. Both with premium pairs, Cai's cowboys held for the win across dry board 8♣ 4♣ 2♥ 3♥ 9♠ , earning him the 100K pot.

Up against a utg open, a three bet and a call, Zhengshan Hao on the big blind, pulled a squeeze to 5,000, and saw only last caller Dong Li continue to flop A♠ 7♥ 6♦ . Hao demanded another 4,000, enough to get Li to quickly lay it down.

Xinghui Zhao opened to 700 utg+1 and was met with a 2,000 three bet from Heng Qiao behind. Zhao answered with another raise to 6,200, and convinced Qiao to give it up.

Qingbo Gao opened to 600 on the hijack, called by both Bing An behind along with Beng Ker on the small blind. On flop J♥ Q♦ 9♦ , Gao continued for 1,300 which didn't deter any of the two from heading to turn 6♥ . Gao sent out another 3,600, weeding out An onto river 9♠ . Yu Liu opened to 1,000 utg, followed by two calls behind. Big blind Peng Wu shot out a three bet to 3,300, and was met with another raise from Liu to 7,200. Wu answered with a five bet to 15,600, and picked up the dead money as Liu laid it down.

Beng Ker opened to 800 on the hijack, followed by a 2,600 three bet behind. Qingbo Gao on the big blind, cold called, along with Ker, revealing flop 6♦ 9♦ 7♥ . Action checked round to turn 4♠ , where Gao led 3,100. Ker raised to 11,600, and saw only Gao make the call to river A♦ . Both checked it down, showing Ker's turned straight 5♥ 3♥ , good agianst Gao's two pair A♠ 9♠ .

Lei Yu opened 15,000 on the small blind, called behind by Che Chun Chu. Yu continued for 17,000 on flop 9♦ 6♦ 3♣ , called once more by his opponent. Turn 3♦ went check check, revealing river T♣ . Yu moved all-in and ushered a fold shortly from Chu for the pot.

Jixiang Wang opened to 1,500 on the button and was met with a 4,800 three bet from Xudong Jin on the big blind. Wang answered with another raise to 16,500, and snap called for the rest as Jin moved all-in.

A favorite to win, Wang instead booked the loss as an ace high board A♦ 6♦ 5♦ J♣ 4♣ landed on the felt, earning Jin the full double up.

A preflop back and forth between Zhengshan Hao and Bing An saw the latter five bet jam his entire 242,000 stack, called by Hao. A cooler situation, An cruised to victory with his nutted pair holding up on board 7♣ T♥ 3♠ Q♠ 3♥ to snatch a huge chunk off of Hao's towering pile.

Bo Ouyang open shoved his last 16,000 and was called by chip leader Yong Li right on the big blind. Ouyang remained a favorite on flop 3♠ 8♠ 2♦ , but was crushed as the turn T♠ filled up Li's flush with no help arriving on river A♥ for his elimination.

Zhengshan Hao opened on the hijack, and went on to fourbet shove against Jun Wang's raise. Wang called off for his entire 128,000 stack and was in for a flip for his tournament life. Board A♣ 9♠ 5♦ 7♦ T♦ once again favored the overcards, knocking Wang from the Day 1A running completely.

With 58,000 in the middle across board 6♠ 5♦ 4♠ T♥ 8♣ , Yi Ma shoved all-in against Gary Moon and saw his opponent call off his 52,100 behind. Ma showed straight 7♠ 7♥ and delivered the bust as Moon tabled 9♥ 9♠ .

An all-in preflop situation on Table #7 saw Jinwoo Kim commit his entire 115,000 against Ying Song for a flip. Board 2♦ A♣ 5♦ J♣ 3♠ instantly landed in favor of the overcards, eliminating Kim entirely.

Xiaobo Zhou pushed his last 11,000 in and was called behind by Zhengshan Hao. Erdun Xu on the small blind, made it 45,000 to go, isolating Zhou for the showdown. Flop 8♣ 7♠ K♣ landed both players top pair with Xu's kicker running in play as turn 2♦ and river T♠ completed the board.

Red Dragon Championship's initial flight has officially closed following fourteen levels of play with its 184-entry field down to 38 runners. Players hailing from mainland China once again dominated the games with the top five stacks raising the red five starred flag. Yong Li bagged the largest, having ended the day with a 645,000 (129 BB) stack, followed by Red Dragon Team's own Ying Song with 602,000, nine big blinds behind. Only the two runners managed to crack the 600K threshold, setting the benchmark for the three following flights.

Day 1A survivors have a day to recuperate before heading back to the felt on Friday, November 29th for the Day 2 battle.

Zeyu Sun opened 5,500 on the cutoff, followed by a three bet to 16,500 from Zheng Cai right behind. Tao Zhang on the big blind, squeezed all-in, and picked up the dead money as both folded.
